DATA PRIVACY AND CYBERSECURITY
Protecting personal data is central to McDermott’s operations. We
manage sensitive information for employees and partners in over
30 countries and comply with global data protection laws
Guided by principles of lawfulness, fairness,
and transparency, we collect, use, and store
personal data only for legitimate business
purposes or with consent. Data privacy is
a shared responsibility. Employees must
protect data, restrict access, and report
incidents promptly.
In 2025, we updated our Global Personal
Data Privacy Policy and program. Our
requirements govern the collection, use,
transfer, and security of personal data for
all workers and third-party processors. Key
elements include training and awareness,
technology safeguards, and data access
and retention controls.
In 2025, we renewed McDermott’s ISO
27001 certi昀椀cation and committed to
continuous improvement under its
framework for our Cybersecurity Program.
We continue to invest in advanced tools,
layered protections, and 24/7 monitoring
to detect, prevent, and respond to threats
quickly. Education remains a priority
through global training, online resources,
awareness campaigns covering phishing,
social engineering, AI safety, and emerging
cyber risks, as well as our October Security
Awareness Month.
