LEADING WITH SAFETY
A strong safety culture is a
shared responsibility across
McDermott - from employees
to subcontractors - built on
common values, accountability,
and a commitment to protecting
people and the environment
Safety culture evolution
During the year, our safety performance
remained above the industry average – as it
has for the past 17 years. We concluded 2025
with a Total Recordable Incident Rate (TRIR) of
0.09 and a Lost Time Incident Rate (LTIR) of 0.003
across almost 122 million workhours. We are also
committed to continuous improvement. We
regularly review and enhance our programs.
In 2025, for example, we strengthened our safety
practices to address emerging risks and shift
from compliance-based approach to a
people-centric approach.
