OUR SUPPLY CHAIN
Maintaining a sustainable supply chain
We take pride in fostering relationships with suppliers who share our commitments
and prioritize safety, operational excellence, ethics, integrity, and sustainability.
We encourage our suppliers to align with us by signing our Supplier Code of Business
Conduct. The document is now shorter, more succinct, and available in more than
10 languages. It gives every supplier a clear understanding of what is required to do
business with McDermott -- with a clear emphasis on sustainability principles.
In 2024, our business lines introduced speci昀椀c goals for their suppliers, and we
offered training to suppliers’ employees to support these goals. During the year,
internal and external audits validated the effectiveness of our supplier registration,
eligibility, and quali昀椀cation processes. McDermott is ISO certi昀椀ed in the following
supply chain areas:
• ISO 9001 (Quality management system): Certi昀椀ed for supplier quali昀椀cation and
evaluation processes, documented procedures for procurement, monitoring
supplier performance and advisories, and established criteria for supplier
selection based on quality capabilities.
• ISO 27001-2022 (Information security management): Supplier data security
veri昀椀cation and supplier data handling procedures.
• ISO 29001 (Oil and gas industry): Emphasis on risk management with supply
chain and supplier performance monitoring.
Building on our progress in 2024, supplier engagement and quali昀椀cation will remain a
focus area in 2025. This work contributes to our alignment with emerging regulatory
frameworks, enhances our supplier engagement, and supports the sustainability
of suppliers’ business operations, particularly with respect to energy ef昀椀ciency,
emissions, human rights, and other areas of strategic importance to McDermott and
our customers. This is where we believe we can have a signi昀椀cant impact.
