OUR WORKFORCE
Employee engagement
Our talented employees are our greatest strength. Active
engagement is fundamental to our success, driving innovation,
collaboration, and long-term growth. Over the past 昀椀ve years, our
workforce has expanded signi昀椀cantly, reaching more than 32,000
employees in 2024 – a testament to our ability to attract and
retain top talent. As we grow, we remain committed to fostering a
connected and engaged workplace.
Building on the success of our company-wide engagement
survey in 2023, we launched our 昀椀rst survey dedicated to craft
employees; with a strong 68% response rate – representing about
12,000 employees in critical trades – we gained valuable insights
into their experiences and ideas. This feedback is guiding targeted
action plans to enhance engagement, career development, and
workplace culture for our craft workforce.
We have also continued to strengthen direct communication
between employees and leadership. Through regular inperson and virtual town halls, video messages, and email
communications, we enhanced transparency on company
progress and priorities. Our CEO continued to host virtual open
of昀椀ce hours, featuring executive leadership discussions on key
topics.
Beyond leadership engagement, we are deepening connections
through our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs).
In 2024, our ERGs hosted over 50 global events with more than
16,000 participants. These events foster community, celebrate
inclusion, and provide opportunities for learning and collaboration
across our workforce.
Recognizing the importance of continuous learning, we also
launched the 2024 Sustainability Learning Series to equip
employees with a deeper understanding of our sustainability
strategy. More than 5,000 employees participated in this initiative,
exploring themes such as decarbonization, innovation in
sustainable fuels, and national content programs.
We also have recognition and rewards programs as well as
career anniversary and cultural celebrations. We honor the rich
traditions of the countries in which we operate and appreciate
the innovation of our people who present key technical topics and
share their engineering expertise through thought leadership at
key industry events.
HEALTH AND WELL-BEING
We are committed to supporting the health and well-being of
our employees through comprehensive programs that promote
preventive care, mental health awareness, and access to quality
healthcare.
In 2024, we introduced mandatory First Aid Mental Health
Awareness training for all employees, equipping them with the
knowledge to recognize early signs of mental health conditions
and respond effectively in workplace situations. Additionally, our
Lay Vessel 108 (LV108) crew became the 昀椀rst in our marine 昀氀eet
to complete accredited Mental Health First Aid training, providing
them with the skills to support not only their colleagues but also
family, friends, and community members.
At our Batam fabrication yard, we provide free healthcare to all
employees and their families through our onsite clinic, which
received the ‘PARIPURNA’ (Excellent) accreditation from the Ministry
of Health of Indonesia in 2024. This prestigious recognition re昀氀ects
our investment in top-quality healthcare services, upgrades
to medical equipment, and exceptional patient care through
enhanced patient care protocols and infection control measures.
