Supporting our customers in energy transition
We recognize our unique position as a large
EPCI contractor serving the energy industry and
work toward driving lower-carbon pathways
through the design of the facilities we build
and hand over to our customers. This furthers
our commitment to sustainability and offers
opportunities for business growth.
In 2024, we identi昀椀ed and delivered strong results in 昀椀ve focus
areas:
• Blue and green hydrogen production: We leverage over 60 years
of hydrogen experience to support the scale-up of hydrogen
solutions and turn aspirations into reality.
• Offshore wind electricity transmission: Our leadership in the
deployment of HVDC substations is supported by over 100 years
of offshore expertise.
We are shaping a more sustainable future by blending innovation
with deep engineering expertise to reduce carbon emissions and
drive cleaner, more ef昀椀cient energy delivery.
• CCUS: Our long-standing experience in carbon dioxide capture
and storage applications empowers clients to achieve their
decarbonization goals.
In conceiving and delivering low-carbon projects, we provide an
integrated approach to responsibly harness and transform global
energy resources into the products the world needs. Our vertical
integration is one of our main differentiators. We have the capacity
to take a project from early feasibility and front-end design,
through to a complete operating facility. And we leverage our wellestablished onshore and offshore construction experience, inhouse fabrication capabilities, and modularization expertise – from
concept to commissioning – to develop innovative solutions that
support customers in the transition to low-carbon energy.
• Low-carbon fuels: Our portfolio of services supports renewable
and low-carbon fuel projects with expertise in multiple
feedstocks, technologies, and processes.
• Designing our emissions: Leveraging our expertise in engineering
and project execution, we are committed to 昀椀nding lowemission pathways through improved designs.
